Eloise Davis, 92, of Coahoma died on Thursday, March 17, in a Big Spring care facility. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, in the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born on May 2, 1912, in Pilot Point, Texas, and married Lawrence N. Davis on May 16, 1936, in Garden City, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1981.

Mrs. Davis had been a resident of Coahoma since 1947.

She was a graduate of North Texas Women's University and had taught school in Coahoma for many years until retiring in 1977.

She enjoyed playing bridge and loved her family and friends.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Coahoma.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Glenn Daniel of Coahoma; a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Betty Davis of Coahoma; a sister, Mary Fowler of Big Spring; four grandchildren, Duane Robinson of Gladewater, Wacey Daniel of Big Spring, Steve Davis of Coahoma and Cindy Moorehead of Grapevine; and three great-grandchildren, Mathew and Blakely Robinson of Gladewater and Kyle Daniel of Big Spring.

She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean Robinson; and two brothers, Winfred Riney and Eldon Riney.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 3205 W. Cuthbert, Ste A-5, Midland, TX 79701.
