Mary Oral Bowden Clark, age 83, died of natural causes June 4,2007 at the Uintah Basin Care Center in Roosevelt. Mary Oral Clark was born Dec. 28, 1923 in Altonah to Oliver Leroy Brown and Artimisa Foote.
Mary Oral married Provensal (Vence) Clark Nov. 20, 1941. Mary was active in the LDS Church were she served in many positions in the Relief Society and young women program. She was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Her love was working with the children in the Primary.
She is survived by son, Lloyd (Deborah) Clark; daughters, Karen (Albert) Pendelbury, Black-foot, Idaho; Gloria (Glen) Bachoffer, St. George; two sisters, Joy (Clinton) Jacobsen, Scipo; Doralee (Don) Snyder, Cedar City; along with nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren one great-great-grandchild, and three step-children and many step-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, one brother, a son-in-law and one grandson.
Funeral services were Monday June 11 at 2 p.m. at the Vernal 2nd Ward LDS Chapel.
Friends and family called Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
