Lowell was born December 11, 1923 in McDonald, PA. He was the son of the late Dewey Hancock and the late Grace Flick Hancock.
Lowell was a Veteran of the United State Army Air Corp during World War II. He retired from Moonlight Mushroom. Lowell was a member of the West Sunbury American Legion Post 243 where he was the commander for many years.
Lowell is survived by his wife, who he married, August 9, 1975, three daughters, one son, and two grandsons.
Lowell was preceded in death by three brothers.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Muddycreek Presbyterian Church.
Private burial was in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
