George Gearing Kerr, 84, of Paducah passed away at 7:40 PM Friday, October 16, 2015 at Barkley Center of Paducah.
Mr. Kerr was a retired boat mechanic for Chris Craft Boats of Pompano Beach, FL and he was a Veteran of the US Army who served in the Korean War. He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by one son, Adam Kerr and wife Amanda of West Paducah; one grandson, David Kerr of West Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Lee Kerr; parents, Carl Presley and Olive (Gearing) Kerr; one son, Bruce Kerr; and one sister, Martha Esselmeyer.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Pittsburgh, PA.
