David Brainerd Abbey, b. June 22, 1832 (probably in NY); d. Jan. 25, 1899.

He settled in 1863 at Big Flats, Chemung County, N. Y. ; lived later in Rondout, where he conducted a lime and cement business.

Married (1) Dec. 25, 1856, Sarah C. Randall, b. Aug. 5, 1836; d. May 25, 1889

Daughter: Anna Tompkins, b. July 24, 1868, m. Sept. 18, 1888, Frank Herbert Tubbs, who was b. Nov. 16, 1853, no children.
