"PHILIP M HESCH DIED AS RESULT OF A FALL - RECEIVED INTERNAL INJURIES SATURDAY MORNING - WAS WORKING BUILDING BARN - Accident Occurred at Farm of W A Tubbs Near Boughton and Man Passed Away at City Hospital - Philip M Hesch of May avenue, a well known architect and contractor, received injuries Saturday morning when he fell from a barn on the Warren A Tubbs farm, near Boughton, which resulted in his death at the City hospital at about 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Mr Hesch was badly bruised on the face and forehead, his right arm was broken and he sustained internal injuries which caused his death. He was 60 years of age and had lived in Titusville practically all his life....The body was taken to the morgue of Charles Courtney and prepared for burial and the funeral will be held on Tuesday. Well Known Citizen - Philip M Hesch had resided in Titusville all his life, with the exception of about two years spent in the west. He returned to this city from Santa Fe, New Mexico, on January 15th 18--. He was well known and highly respected. He leaves a wife, Mrs Catherine Hesch and two sons, Charles W Hesch of Tampa, Florida, and Herbert F Hesch of this city. His mother, Mrs Philip M Hesch of Santa Fe also survives, as do three brothers, John, Edward and Albert Hesch of New Mexico. He also leaves four sisters, Mrs Kate Lavery of Crossmanville, Erie county; Mrs Ida Airheart of Albuquerque, New Mexico. One of the other sisters lives in California and the other in Santa Fe. He was a member of the Odd Fellows of Santa Fe."

"The funeral of Philip M Hesch was held at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, at the family home on May avenue. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends and there were a number of floral tributes. The interment was in Greenwood cemetery. After the prayer service the bearers carried the remains to the funeral car, which took the body to the final resting place. The bearers were Frank Felton, M J Gillen, Henry Maier, Richard Gillen, George Hughes and John Kennedy."
