Thomas "Dutch" Moore, 82, of Helena, formerly of Conway, died Wednesday, February 23, 2005. He was born March 19, 1922, in Hamburg to Thomas Madison and Willie B. Mortar Moore. He retired from the Air National Guard after many years of service. He attended State Teachers College, where he was a three-sport letterman and received his masters degree from Peabody University. He officiated many high school, Arkansas Inter-Collegiate Conference and Southland Conference sports. A former Hamburg High School football coach, he was inducted in the Arkansas High School Coaches and Officials Hall of Fame in 2002.

Survivors include his wife, Louise H. Moore; seven children, Matt Moore Sr. of Columbia, MO, Dana Burnett of Wye Mountain, Charles Stephens of Birmingham, AL, Paul Stephens of Tuscaloosa, AL, Fran Sills of Helena, Jane Haro of San Diego, CA, and Billie Torres of San Antonio, TX; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 26, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Rev. Greg Comer officiating. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Neil Dobbins, Michael Dudley, Reid Stephens, Charlie Stephens, Matt Moore Jr. and Steve Sills.

To whom it may concern if you would be so kind as to add his first wife to this memorial, that would be Dana and Matt's mother... Rose June Middleton Moore...18 Aug 1923 died 4 June 1998. She is buried in the same cemetary only with her parents. By the pine tree not far from the gazebo.
