Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Andrew Albert Alderman from Coffeeville, Kansas lost his life at the age of 22 on March 17, 1967.

Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Andrew Albert Alderman was born on May 12, 1944 and was the son of Albert Arthur Alderman and Christian Mildred Alderman. HM2 Alderman had 3 years of service in the U.S. Navy arriving in Vietnam assigned to Headquarters and Service Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force.

On March 17, 1967 HM3 Andrew Alderman was killed in action by an hostile explosive device and died outright from multiple fragmentation wounds in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam, South Vietnam.
