Dovie Evelyn Adams Tatum, age 89, of Sevierville, went to her Heavenly Home Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
She was a devoted Christian lady, she loved her family, friends, and church, but above all she loved and served the Lord. She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church and attended faithfully until her health prohibited her from going.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Tatum; parents, Leonard and Birdie Adams; brothers, Roy and Hulet Adams; sister, Ella Mae Myers; sister-in-law, Betty Adams; brother-in-law, Kermit Phillips.
She is survived by her sisters, Cloetta Bryan and husband, Revis, Emma Coile and husband, Jim, and Clara Phillips; and brother-in-law, C. J. Myers; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Funeral service 7 PM Thursday, October 15th in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Preston Joslin officiating.
Interment 2 PM Friday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be: Curtis Adams, Dale, Johnny, Terry, Jason, Andy, and Matt Bryan.
