Eula Deckard Walker, 81, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Southeast Health Center of Ripley County.

Mrs. Walker, daughter of the late Jim and Nettie (Stevens) Deckard, was born February 28, 1934, in Alton, Missouri. She had been a homemaker. Mrs. Walker enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, tending her flowers and playing with her dog, Lucky. She attended Belleview Church.

On June 10, 1950, she was married to Cleo Pete Walker in Salem, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on November 26, 1998.

Surviving are one daughter, Ruby Walker of Doniphan; 4 sisters, Jewell Dilldine and Sarah Petty, both of St. Louis, Lizzie Walker of Ellsinore, Missouri, and Bonnie Adams of West Plains, Missouri; and one brother, Alfred Deckard of Alton, Missouri.

Visitation will take place Friday evening, October 16, 2015, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon, October 17, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ronnie Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery on K Highway in Carter County, Missouri.
