WINDSOR — Alfred M. Epling, age 86, died of a sudden illness on Tuesday Oct. 6, 2015.
He was the son of Charles A. Epling and Willa (Kessinger) Epling, born Jan. 20, 1929, in Gallipolis, Ohio. Alfred was married to Eileen (Hoch) Epling on Nov. 24, 1984.
Alfred worked as a tool and die machinist at Addressograph Multigraph for 35 years.
Alfred loved, and was loved by, family, friends, and neighbors. If you stopped by you might have found him in his flowerbeds or garden.
During cold weather, you might share a story with him by his fireplace.
Alfred is survived by his wife and children, Philip, Daniel, Jeremy (Michelle) and Allison. Also survived by his siblings, Charlotte Hilbert, Leonard Epling, Lillian Blair, Joyce Morgan and David (Kim) Epling; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; his brother, Cecil Epling; and his sister, Violet LaValle.
A Funeral Service, officiated by Elder Stephen Tricamo, will be held 10 a.m. at the PAINE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio 44076, on Saturday, Oct. 10th.
Visitation will take place at the Funeral Home on Friday,
