RAMSAY - In Caledonia, Sept. 18 (?), 1879, Mrs. William Ramsay, aged 64 years and 6 months.
Mrs. Ramsay was born March 18, 1815 in the town of Kirkoswald, Ayrshire, Scotland. She was a sister of Mr. James Gray, late of Caledonia, but who now resides in Verona, Dane Co., Wis. The deceased was a good Christian woman, a kind wife and a loving mother. She has left her husband and two sons and two daughters. The sons and daughters are all married and living in this vicinity. They have lost a good mother, and the community a good neighbor. - Her remains were interred on the 19 (?), and were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of friends. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord."
