MILLERSBURG - Mrs. Jean L. Dressler-Tumas, 85, of 417 East Green Street, Shiremanstown, died Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp., PA. She was formerly of Millersburg. She was born in Harrisburg, on February 23, 1921, the daughter of the late Norman W and Golda M. (Wetzel) Messersmith. She was a retired Mechanic for the New Cumberland Army Depot, Mechanicsburg; member of Trinity UCC Millersburg, and the Millersburg Moose #59. She was the wife of Walter J. Tumas, and the widow of Frank I. Dressler. Surviving in addition to her husband are 3 sons, Keith E. Messersmith of Ashland, William E. Dressler of McAllisterville, and Colin K. Still of Leesport; brother, Norman W. Messersmith, Jr., of Millersburg; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Delmer W. Still and a grandson, Michael Messersmith. Religious service will be at Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc., Millersburg, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, July 18th, with Rev. Penny Dollar officiating.
