Carsonville- Harvey E. Albrecht, age 77, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 in his home.
He was born February 12, 1938 in Carsonville, son of the late Harvey F. and Gladys I. (Monzo) Albrecht. Harvey married Sharon I. Greene on December 21, 1957 in Forester.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Port Sanilac, and was a lifetime farmer in Sanilac Twp.
Harvey is survived by his wife Sharon; son Charles (Rhonda) of Snover; 5 daughters, Deborah (Anthony) Hammond of Lakeport, Sandra (Steven) Willis of Port Sanilac, Cheryl Albrecht of Santa Clara, CA., Donna Albrecht of Anna Maria Is., FL., and Michelle (Timothy) Smith of Carsonville; sister Francis (Larry) Wallis of Lapeer; 17 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers Vernon, and Keith, and sister Betty Peplinski.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, October 16 at St. John Lutheran Church, Port Sanilac. Rev. Leo Thoms will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-9 PM Thursday at the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Carsonville, and at the church from 10-11 AM Friday.
