Jeanette Evelyn Maakestad Ridulph, 93, of DeKalb, died Monday, Sep 23, 1994 in her home. Born 7 Jul 1901, in Lee, she was the daughter of Barney and Rachel (Edwards) Jacobson. She married Melvin Maakestad in 1927. He died in 1959. She then married Michael Ridulph in 1965. She attended schools in Lee and Red Wing, MN. She worked at the Green River Ordnance Plant during WWII and retired from General Electric in 1966. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Lee and the General Electric DeKalb Club. She also was active in the senior citizens food program. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons; three stepchildren; five grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren, and two great step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be at 11 am Thursday in the First Lutheran Church in Lee with Pastor Henrietta Milner officiating. Burial will be in the First Lutheran Church Cemetery near Lee. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday in Jacobson Funeral Home in Shabbona.
