Nathan Lyle Anderson son of Martha Adeline "Adda" Rowles Anderson and Alex Anderson, married Bernice Goudy, October 24, 1919. Lyle and Bernice planted many trees, (it has been said over 100 different kind), at their home 2 and 1/2 miles south of Partridge, Reno Co., KS, USA, at the location known in the community as "Shadow Lane".

PARTRIDGE - N. Lyle Anderson, 72, prominent Partridge farmer, died Sunday at his home here after several months' illness. Born March 4, 1893, in DeLong, Ill., he came to Partridge as an infant. He married Bernice Goudy Oct. 24, 1919, at Partridge.

Member: Partridge Community Church.

Survivors: The widow; son, Robert A., Fortuna, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Hazel O'Hara, Partridge; brother, Merton, Partridge.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church; Rev. Julian B. Johnson and Mr. Leonard Johnson. Burial: Partridge Cemetery, Partridge. Family suggests contributions to Cancer Fund. Call: Elliott Chapel 4-10 p.m. Monday.
