From Contributor Kathy W. Johnson: Although his headstone gives 12 Jul 1932 Virginia death certificate has 11 Jul 1932 at Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Virginia. After the death of his first wife he married Rosalie Marshall St. John on 28 Sep 1894 and they had one child, a daughter Margaret St. John Herndon. It appears from census records they remained married but lived apart after the 1900 census. He was also survived by his daughter from his first marriage, Corinne Young Herndon.
