Margaret Rebecca Ridge, 85, Starnes Road, Rt. 7, Bloomington died at 6 a.m. today.
She was born April 8, 1884, in Lawrence County to Marion and Elizabeth Chasteen Harmon. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Ellettsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Andrew [sic] Ridge who died 21 years ago today.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Nelson (Louise) Wiles, Mrs. Merrill (Lena) Hendrix, and nMrs. Anna L. Halstead, all of Bloomington, and Mrs. Marion (Ethel) Dearmin, Indianapolis; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two stepsons, Roy C. Ridge, Indianapolis, and Clayton Ridge, Jackson, Michigan; a step daughters, Mrs. Ester Acton, Indianapolis; a brother, Owen Harmon, Stanford; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Woodward, Bedford.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Greene and Harrell Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Helton and the Rev. Paul Strietelmeier officiating. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. tonight, all day Tuesday, and until services Wednesday.
