Donald Bailey
Donald Bailey age 77 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. He was born January 14, 1938 in Tip Top, Kentucky to the late Sam J. Bailey and Betty Cole Bailey. He was the husband of Avonell Bailey, who survives. Survivors also include three sons Samuel Thomas Bailey of Salyersville, Kentucky, Christopher Don Bailey of Lexington, Kentucky and Kerry Ryan Bailey of Jacksonville, Florida, one daughter Desiree Dawn Hall of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother Jack Bailey of Merrillville, Indiana, and two sisters Mary Lee Minix of Greer, South Carolina and Pansy Patrick of Tampa, Florida. Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by two brothers Harry C. Bailey and Arthur Bailey, and twin sisters Ressie Williams and Tressie Push.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Thursday, October 15, 2015 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Minix officiating. Burial will follow in the Warnie Bailey Cemetery at Bee Tree, Kentucky. Friends may call the funeral home after 5 pm Tuesday, October 13, 2015, all day Wednesday and anytime Thursday prior to funeral services.
