At Plattsburgh, N.Y., Jan. 11th, 1902 at the home of his daughter Mrs. Earl H. Bromley, Milton Bingham Brewer in the 78th year of his life. The deceased was born at Berkshire, Vt., Mar 11th, 1824. He was married to Antha M. Mattison at Shaftsbury, Vt., Sept. 16th, 1847. The first part of their married life was passed in western New York, later they came to Vermont and from thence they removed to Chateaugay, N.Y., where they resided about thirty years. Since 1890 his home had been in Plattsburgh, N.Y. He was a man of positive convictions and pronounced principles, thoroughly honest and just in his dealings with others, kind and upright. He bore all his sufferings and trials with fortitude and patience. He was a true and loving husband and a father who was tenderly devoted to his children. He is survived by a wife and three children, one son having died in 1873.
