Little Helen Delora Tieman was born, 25 Apr 1900 in Freetown, Jackson, Indiana. She died age nine months,28 Feb 1900, in Salt Creek, also Jackson County. Her parents were, William Edward Tieman and Susanna M Bolin Tieman and her two older sisters were, Daisy age 8, and Gladys, 6 yrs. Another sister, Bernice was born a year after her death. Her father was then serving as a Pastor for the United Brethren Church.
The family then returned to their former home in Huntingburg, Dubois County, Indiana. Burial took place in Fairmount Cemetery, in the property of her gr-grandfather, Caspar Heinrich Tiemann, who died in 1894; Helen in 1900, and her grandfather, John Frederick Tieman, who died in 1907. Grave markers do not exist for Caspar or Helen Tieman - only for J F Thieman (sic-Tieman).
