PARTRIDGE - Benton R. Anderson, 82, rural Partridge, died Sunday at Hutchinson Hospital after a long illness. Born April 3, 1893 at Partridge, he married Madge Goudy, Oct. 19, 1918 at Partridge. She died July 29, 1961. He married Sylvia E. Young Jan 25, 1966 at Camdenton, Mo. He was a retired farmer and a lifetime resident of Partridge area.

He was a member of the Church of Christ Scientists, board of the Ark Valley Electric Cooperative, president of Reno Telephone Association, and member of board of Central Kansas Credit Union.

Survivors are widow; son: Howard, Claremont, N.H.; daughters: Mrs. Bob Perrin, McPherson; Mrs. Chester Barnes, Leoti; brothers: Willard C., Kirkwood Mo.; Tyson V., Evanston, Ill.; nine grandchildren; four step daughters.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, Mr. Joseph E. Beyer Jr. Burial will be at the Partridge Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
