Morton M. Pritchett, 14 years old, and Sarah L. Fansler, innocent 13, recently eloped
from Marion, Ind.., walking 20 miles to take a train into Michigan where they were
married. Their wedding trip cost $10.75 , both being so small of their age that most of the railroaders carried them for half fare.

They are living in the 1880 census in Franklin Township, Marion, Grant County Indiana where Morton says his employment is chain-maker.

They are in 1910 census for Marion, Grant Co IN with children Orville, Milford and Grace Pritchett. They moved over to Lancaster, Jefferson Co IN by 1920 census where Morton M Pritchett was working as a laborer at a sawmill and Milford age 35 and grandson Robert M.
