BROOKSTON - Dewey G. Victor, Sr., died at 8:37 AM Monday [Sept. 3, 1983] in Lafayette Home Hospital, where he had been a patient since Aug. 6. He was born and educated at Brookston and had farmed in this area for many years. In 1918, he was married to Agnes Catherine Martin at St. Joseph, MI; she died in 1965.

Surviving are two sons, Dewey "Bud" Victor, Jr. of Brookston and Donald Victor of Fowler; two daughters, Marie (Mrs. Chester) Miller of Buck Creek and Mrs. Loretta Pattee of rural Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Flora North of Rt. 1 Brookston and Mrs. Nellie Shultz of Brookston; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by five brothers.
