JANE LEW — Linda Carol Yeager Freeman, 72, of Vens Run, Jane Lew, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord in the early morning of Friday, October 9, 2015, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
She blessed this earth and the lives of her parents when she was born in Charleston, WV, on April 2, 1943, a daughter of the late Roy Harding Yeager and Garnet Arbell Scites Yeager Bots.
On October 30, 1960, she married Leland Jackson Freeman, and they renewed their vows on December 31, 1975. He loved her beyond words and will miss her beyond measure after spending 54 years together.
Her faithful, caring spirit will be carried on by their four children: Dwayne Freeman and wife, Lisa, Pamela Jo Holcomb, Debra Nixon and Melissa Ann England and husband, Walter “Sonny,”. Her loving and compassionate nature will be fondly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, Aaron, Tiffany and Ethan Freeman Matt, Todd and Kristen Warner, Justin, Freeman and Ben Nixon, Jerod, Garrett, Carly and Lyndsy England. In addition, Linda was blessed with five great-grandchildren: Emma Eckenfels, Daxton, Zane and Brice Freeman and Cade Warner; as well as two step-great-grandchildren, Alexia Riffle and Gabriella Klinect. Her dachshund, Shay and her cat, Pixie, were always by her side and they will miss her dearly.
Linda worked at the Ohio Pythian Sisters Home and the Samaritan Care Center, both in Medina, OH. She retired as a Wal-Mart associate with several years of service. She felt blessed by the beauty of God’s nature every day and enjoyed taking walks, working in her flower gardens and watching the wildlife that frequented her yard. She was a faithful witness for the Lord and enjoyed singing his praises in the United Evangelical Mission Church choir in West Milford.
Friends and family will gather at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service at 144 Hackers Creek Road in Jane Lew from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2015. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. from the Pat Boyle Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Titus Ashby and Pastor Bill Lanham officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored and privileged to serve the family of Linda Freeman.
