Myra Beam Lamphere passed away Tuesday morning, August 25, 2015. Myra was born February 21, 1927 the daughter of Emery E. and Edith Woodbeck Baxter in Roseboom. During her life she helped her first husband run the farm for many years; she also worked at Beechnut Lifesavers for 43 years. Myra was a member of the Beech-Nut 25 year club and the Salem United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Donald Lamphere of Palatine Bridge. Her children Evelyn (Will) Swank of Fort Plain, Elsie (Sonny) Rocklin of Sprakers, Paul (Erika) Beam of Sprakers, Kathy (Will) Carpenter of Sprakers, Mike (Diane) Beam of Richfield Springs, Laura Beam of Sailsbury and Jeff (Laura) Beam of Fort Plain. She is also survived by 24 grandchildern, 54 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren and her brother Emery (Bertha) Baxter of Marshville, NY. Myra was predeceased by her first husband Guy Beam, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Calling Hours will take place at the Ottman Funeral Home at 22 Church Street Cherry Valley, NY on Thursday August 27, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Friday August 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Canajoharie Falls Cemetery.
