He was born on Nov. 19, 1932 in Compromise Township, a son of Miles and Lela (Carley) Kracman. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Victor, who died at birth.
He is survived by cousins, Vickie Cohen, Lavon (Don) Cler, Kay (Art) Opfer, Steven (Carol) Carley, David (Judy) Carley, Ann Carley, Sonna Carley, Sara Tiller and many second and third cousins.
Ladi spent his last three years at the Champaign County Nursing Home in Urbana where he enjoyed tooling leather and giving away wallets and other items to those around him.
