Another angel earned her wings and was taken into God’s care on Saturday. Janice Headley was born in Ashtabula on April 4, 1940, the daughter of Versal and Georgia (Powers) Evans.
Janice was the owner and operator of Jan’s House of Crafts on Main Ave. in Ashtabula for many years. She was also the office manager for her husband’s company, the E. Headley Painting Company.
She enjoyed sewing, craft work, baking, and family time, especially with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janice was the most giving person, putting everyone else before her.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene in 2014; sons, Adam and Mark Headley; brothers, Ted and Robert Evans; and sister, Carolee Morris.
A Memorial Service will be held 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 9th, at Potti Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1329 Lake Ave., Ashtabula. Calling Hours are 4 until 7 p.m. Friday. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Pierpont will be held at a later date.
Contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
