Florence (MacDonald) Miller was born March 20, 1881, Bishops Mills, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of George W. MacDonald and Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie" Devitt. Her grandparents were Edward Devitt (FAG#101244819) and Mary A. Edwards - (FAG#101244833). She married Theodore H. Miller in 1904 in Poughkeepsie, NY, a noted self trained engineer and manufacturing expert and they raised three very accomplished children - John MacDonald Miller - famous early aviator, Elizabeth (Lee) Miller - famous model/photographer/correspondent/painter, and Erick Sague Miller. Florence was very involved in local civic activities for many years. She passed away in Poughkeepise, NY, Sept 11, 1954 - just one month after their 50th anniversary, August 10, 1954.
