Dorothy Jones Carroll, 89, of Everman passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at a hospice in Fort Worth.
Pallbearers will be J.D. Handley, Chad Handley, James Stephens, Odell Pack, Bobby Pack and Johnny Carroll, III.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie "Hodo" Carroll; parents, Seth and Alma Jones; brothers, Seth Jones Jr. and Elton Jones; and sister, Virginia Avant.
Survivors: Son, Johnny Carroll of Everman; daughters, Deborah Ewell and husband, Jack, of Fort Worth, Donna Handley and husband, Donald, of Paradise and Delores Pack and husband, Leslie, of Paradise; sisters, Carol Ann Wilbanks of Corsicana and Francis Baker and husband, Clyde, of Malakaff; brothers, Frank Jones and wife, Wanza, of Corsicana, Paul Jones and wife, Karen, of Corsicana, Jerry Jones and wife, P.J., of Corsicana and Jeff Jones and wife, Barbara, of Missouri: 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, with a great-grandchild in the works; and nieces and nephews whom she thought the world of. She was loved by many family and friends.
