Charley S. Alexander married Geraldine P. McVey in 1912 in Adams County, Illinois. When Charlie Sider Alexander completed his World War I Draft Registration card on September 12, 1918, in Moline, Illinois, he filled in his nearest relative's name as Mrs. Geraldine Alexander. I do not know if Rhoda was going by Geraldine at that time, or if this is another marriage for Charles to another lady. In the 1920 Census for Moline, Illinois, Charlie and Rhoda Alexander are living with a 15 year old son, Lloyd. It's possible that Lloyd was Charles' son by a previous marriage, but I do not find either one of them before this 1920 census record. Rhoda's obituary stated that Lloyd was her surviving son, so I requested that he be linked to her.
