MISS DAYNES' RITES SET FOR TUESDAY

Sister of Utah Composer Dies Sunday

Funeral Services for Miss Lisle Daynes, 79, a sister of the late Professor Joseph J. Daynes, Utah musician and composer of a number of L.D.S. hymns, died Sunday at her residence, 465 First avenue, will be conducted Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at the Larkin mortuary, 250 East South Temple street. Bishop C. Clarence Neslen will officiate. Interment will be in City cemetery. Friends may call at the Larkin mortuary Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
Miss Daynes, a daughter of John and Eliza Daynes, was born in Norwich, England, February 14, 1855, and came to Salt Lake with her parents and brother, Professor Joseph J. Daynes, in 1862. Surviving are her half-sisters and brothers, Mrs. L. W. Snow, J. Fred Daynes, Della D. Sanders, Royal W. Daynes, Dean R. Daynes, her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Jane Daynes, and the following nephews and nieces: Joseph J. Daynes, president of the western states L.D.S. mission; Harold S. Daynes, Raymond E. Daynes and Mrs. Charles Baldwin.
