Oct. 14, 1938 - Oct. 1, 2015 Ralph, known by many loving names (Dumpy Diamond, Bubba, Daddy Doo, Papa, and Doc) passed away October 1, 13 days shy of his 77th birthday. He is now reunited with his loving wife of 55 years (Marilyn Farnell), his grandparents Ralph and Geneva Diamond and Heavenly Father. Born October 14, 1938, he was a native and life-long resident of Mobile. He will forever live in the hearts of his daughters Angela Holladay (Bill Miller) and Cassie Roote (James). Grandchildren, Alex Gilbert Stonecypher (Ryan), Gabriel Bradley and Aaron Roote (Stephanie), Aunt/Sister Anna Ross Diamond Moak, Brother Donnie Nixon and many other family members and friends. Known for his wonderful sense of humor and loving nature, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family asks that you join them and celebrate his life, with visitation and service to held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Saturday October 10. Visitation will begin at 10a.m. followed by services starting at noon. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery West.
