Arthur E. Brandau, 7733-A Washington lane, Lynnewood Gardens, Elkins Park 17, Pa., died Friday night at Germantown Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Exeter, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Brandau, he resided in Jeddo and Hazleton the greater part of his life. He located in Elkins Park nine years ago. Until the time of his death, he was employed as a stationery engineer for Lynnewood Gardens Inc. While a local resident he was employed as a turbine man for the Jeddo-Highland Coal Co.

Surviving are his wife, the former Gertrude Eichler, a native of this city; three children, Arthur E., Jr., New Castle, Del.; Mrs. George B. (Doris) McClellan, Jr., Philadelphia; and Earl, Lakewood, N.J.; five grandchildren and a brother, George, this city.

The funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. from the Wittmaier Funeral Home, 6521 North Broad street, Philadelphia. Interment will be in North Wood Cemetery, Philadelphia.
