Archibald Anderson Tannahill was the son of William Robert Tannahill and Christina Anderson. He was one of eleven children. On Jan. 15,1918 he married Isabella Alice Selkirk Barr (Bella)in Huntingdon. Early in their marriage they lived a short time in Montreal and Rockburn. Their next move was in Allan's Corners where they raised their family of four children: Merrill Arcibald, Thelma, Nelson John and Mable. After retiring they moved to Ormstown.
