Bertha Charlton Vaughan 91, died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Brown Frost, after an extended Illness.
Born in Montgomery County, Sept 1,1879, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Susan Hall Charlton and was preceded In death by her husband, Hampton Craig Vaughan.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Nelson B. Ellis, Miami, Fla. and Mrs. Elbert Chrisman, Christiansburg; two half-sisters, Mrs. Mosby Alexander and Miss Lizzie Charlton, both of Draper. Also nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday from the First Christian Church with the pastor, the Rev. Carl France, officiating.
Friends may call today at Stevens Funeral Home, and the family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services.
