Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral service for Mona Schell, age 78, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Services will be held at 11 am Saturday in the Chapel of Miles Funeral Home.
Rev. Jack Chaney will officiate with burial in the Memorial Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Surrency, Georgia.
Mrs. Schell was born in Surrency, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Mann & Ermal Overstreet Mann. Mrs. Schell was a loving mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. She was a devoted employee of Amoco Fabrics. Mrs. Schell had a love of gardening and was loved to the moon and back by her family.
Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law:: Karla & Jack Chaney of Pearson; Sons & daughter-in-law: Raymond Haskin, Ronnie & Vickie Haskin; Sisters: Carolyn Sellers of Orange Park, Fl., Grace Wilcox of Waycross, Madge Holland of Garden City, Cheryl Cooper of Ocala, Fl.; Brother: Bobby Mann of Jesup; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews also survive.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday at Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst.
