FREDERICK DEMING, (son of Frederick) born 30 Oct. 1832 in Litchfield, Conn.; resides in Litchfield; married 31 Mar. 1869 in East Haddam, Conn., Emma Louise Jones, daughter of Geo. W. and Clorinda Buchannan (Hallock) Jones, b. 3 Oct. 1850.
Mr. Deming, after travelling extensively, made Litchfield his permanent residence. He is an accomplished linguist, and musician. His son Frederick possessed great musical gifts, and was an organist of more than ordinary merit.

1. Clarissa Champion, b. 18 Mar. 1872; resides in Litchfield, unmarried.
2. Frederick, b. 9 Sep. 1873; d. 15 Jul. 1892.
3. Dudley Brainard, b. 8 Oct. 1874; resides in New York, where he is engaged in hospital practice, having graduated from Yale Scientific School, and the College of Physicians and Surgeons, N. Y.
4. Elizabeth, b. 12 Apr. 1884.
5. John Hallock, b. 24 Sep. 1887.
