Puckett died at Northwest Texas Hospital, Amarillo, at 6 a.m. today. He lived in Dumas two years, and was employed as Farm Bureau agent. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Nella, a son, Gene, and daughter, Linda Louise, all of the home address, 217 N. Maddox; his father, J.T. Puckett of Flat; two sisters, Mrs. Edna O'Neal of Louisiana, Mrs. Lela Manning of Gatesville.
The body will be taken to Stephenville by Boxwell Brothers Funeral directors of Dumas, for graveside services and interment at 2 p.m. Saturday.
