Evalinda Nash went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Sept. 21, 2015, in Whiteriver. She was born Jan. 10, 1965.

Eva was a very loving and kind person who had a big heart and would do anything for absolutely anyone. A lifetime of activities she enjoyed included: taking walks, going fishing and bead work, and she was well known for her basket weaving.

Eva had many endeavors; she received her degree and was a certified EMT in Whiteriver for a few years. Eva loved cooking by an outside open fire.

She was very talkative and loved to joke around. Eva always made new friends everywhere she went. She was always willing to give a helping hand whenever help was needed and didn’t expect anything in return.

Eva was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, aunt, cousin and daughter. She will be greatly missed by all.

Eva is survived by her mother, Nancy Nash; sister Bevalyn Nash; brothers Keith Nash and Kevin Roehing; daughters Leyla Lynn Cody and Olivia Bourke Harrina; son-in-law Barnabas Harrina; and grandchildren Jasmine Martin, Cheyenne Cody and Kymani Cody.

Eva was preceded in death by her son, Bryant Elton Bourke, and sister Karina Nash.

A wake will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Nancy Nash’s residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at the 7-Mile Miracle Church. Interment will follow at Old Tiapa Cemetery.
