She was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross. She graduated from Waresboro School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Waresboro Church of God.
She is the daughter of the late Carey Thrift and Beulah Rogers Thrift.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Grover Lee, Jr. of Waycross; two sons, Kenneth R. Lee (wife Thelma) of Waycross, and William Roger Lee of Alma; one grandson, Ken Lee (wife April) of Screven; three great grandchildren, Austin Lee, Chance Lee and Grace Lee; and numerous other relatives.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday (October 3, 2015) at Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Music Funeral Home.
