Survivors include her daughters, Eula Mae Daniel McKowan (1914-1987) and Eleanor Pauline Daniel Robertson; sons, Clarence Morgan Daniel (1912–1967), Curtis Cecil Daniel, Jr. (1917-1977), George Duncan Daniel (1919–1968), and Dr. Jack Dalton Daniel (1922–2005); sisters, Pearl Hicks Fersner, Missouri J Hicks Moore (1888–1975), and Nettie Lawson; brother, Harvey Jordan Hicks (1904–1963); 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Also predeceased by siblings, William Timothy Hicks (1883-1944), Susan Lillie Hicks (1885–1936), James Walter Hicks (1887–1948), Lonnie Cleveland Hicks (1893–1952), Mamie L Hicks (1893-), Hattie L. Hicks (1896–1957), Nettie Hicks Lawson (1898–1970), Joseph Leon Hicks (1899–1955), and David Dennis Hicks (1902–1945).
Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 14, 1963, at J.F. Floyd Mortuary by Rev. Lewis Sherard; burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
