Audrey was born April 1, 1927 in Maroa, the daughter of Austin S. and Vey M. Bird Beasley. She was preceded by death by her parents and brother, Rexford.
Survivors include her daughter, Stacy Francis; sister, Margaret King and brother, Milton (Jan) Moomaw.
April was assistant professor at Illinois State University in reading methods.
