Father to Magdalena.
He left everything to the church.Footnote 1. The will of Christian Stutzman shows that he had four or more sons. In addition to those named above [Christian, Jacob, John] are likely, (1) David, wife Susanna Miller, b. Oct. 17, 1767, of DJH 3062, note, who, June 8, 1785, patented land surveyed for Jacob Stutzman, above, by Christian Hochstetler, later known as the Samuel Folk Farm, 2.5 miles S.E. of Salisbury, Pa., likely the David, taxed in 1796, in Milford Tp., Somerset Co., and Apr. 6, 1798, with wife Susanna, both of Somerset Tp., gave power of Attorney to John Wells to sell land in Somerset Tp., same Co. (2) Samuel Stutzman, Somerset Tp., Mar. 26, 1798, agreed to sell land to Abraham Whipkey, his portion of the land bought by Jacob and Samuel Stutzman. Jacob Stutzman, Somerset Tp., Mar. 19, 1796, agreed to sell his part of the same to Peter Lenhart. David and Samuel Stutzman appear to have removed from the county after these transactions. Search for them elsewhere has proved fruitless [so far].
