Florence Waldoch age 84, of Stevens Point died peacefully Sunday, September 27, 2015 after a long battle with Myasthenia Gravis. She was born in Stevens Point on November 5, 1930 to the late Phillip and Sally Cisewski. She attended local schools.

She married Benedict Waldoch, November 23, 1952. After their marriage the couple settled in Stevens Point at her husband’s great-grandparent’s family farm. In addition to farming, through the years, she was employed with Lullaby Furniture. She retired in the mid 80’s from farming. Florence enjoyed gardening, polka music, homemade cakes and pies and her Homemade Bread, and she had the Best Trick or Treat Candy. Most of all filling her grand and great-grand children up with ice cream.

Florence was a member of the St Peter’s Rosary Society Rose #27 and the Secular Franciscan and St. Francis of Assisi Order.

Survivors include two daughters Rose (John, Jr.) Wojcik, Stevens Point and Chris (Dean) Rusin, Florence, Oregon, and son Ray (Sharon) Waldoch, Stevens Point; Grandchildren John (Amy) Wojcik, Marshfield, Sara (Corey) Brish, Stevens Point, Jessica (Chris) Firdoch, Kissimmee FL, Bob (Dody) Waldoch, Stevens Point, Rick (Ariel) Waldoch, Chaska, MN, Brittany Rusin, Santa Monica, CA and Alyssa Rusin, San Francisco, CA; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Survivors also include Sisters Pat Filipiak, Hedwig (Leo) Lewandowski, Jane (Tony) Rucinski and Cathy (Ken) Grezenski and Brothers Richard, Kenneth (Agnes), Albin (Grace), Harry (Ann), Eugene (Karen), Barney, Clarence (Jacki), Florence was preceded in death by Husband Benedict, a son Robert and brothers Art and Ervin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday September 30, 2015 at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery Torun. Visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point and again on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service in the Faustina room at the church.

St. Peter Rosary society will pray the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Pisarski Funeral Homes of Stevens Point and Plover are honored to be serving the family. For online condolences please visit www.pisarskifuneralhome.com
