Mr. Blankenship was born on August 22, 1935 in Dodge County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Carlston Daniel Blankenship, Sr. and Lessie Parkerson Blankenship. He was retired from the United States Post Office. He served in the United States Air Force. He attended Jefferson Street Baptist Church for many years before moving to Dudley Baptist Church. Mr. Blankenship passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Shamrock Nursing and Rehab.
