HALSEY, December 13 (Special) Funeral services for C. C. Jackson, who died at his home near here Tuesday, were held today, Rev. A. C. Waldbeck officiating, assisted by Rev. David Hardy.
Mr. Jackson was born May 30, 1852 in Indiana, and came across the plains with his parents when he was 1 year old. They settled at French Prairie near Salem. October 11, 1873, he married Amanda Bilyeu of Scio. They celebrated their golden wedding in 1923. Mrs. Jackson died three years ago.

Christopher was a retired farmer at the time of his death. He died from pneumonia and basically old age.
