John Lewis Neyland married Margaret Louise Kerbow in 1943. He served in the Navy and Air Force for 4 years during WWII.
He and Margaret raised three daughters and a son while farming and ranching for many years in Donley and Erath counties. He was an electrical engineer who retired from Lockheed after 20 years. John Lewis was also employed for 20 years at Harris H.E.B. hospital as an engineering supervisor. John and Margaret returned to ranching in retirement.
He loved ranching, hunting and fishing. He was a devoted husband of 57 years, a loving father for 55 years, and a proud grandfather for 30 years.
