Interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Carencro. Msgr. Russell Harrington, of St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.
Mr. Miller was a native of Carencro and a resident of Arnaudville for the last 20 years. He was a member of IBEW Local 861 and VFW 5153. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the military having served in the United States Army during World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Robert P. Miller and his wife, Cinderella, and John "Black" Miller; two grandchildren, Shaun Miller and his wife, Lydia, and Paige Miller; two great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Miller and Brayden Miller; and one great-great-grandchild, Mason Quebedeaux, all of Arnaudville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arline Olivier Miller; his parents, John B. Miller and the former Regina Prejean both natives of Carencro; two brothers, Jessie Lee Miller and William R. Miller; and one sister, Ruby Miller Domingue.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
