Polson - Margurette Ella King, 93, Polson, died on December 24, 1986 at St. Joseph Convalescent Center.
She was born August 30, 1893, in Willmar, Minnesota to Elmer Preston and Minnie Lake Baxter Lawrence. She married Fred A. Marshall in 1913. The couple had four children.
She later married Arthur King of Dayton. They made their home in Polson for some time, and then lived in Somers, Libby, and on the West Shore near Dayton before returning to Polson.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband on February 10, 1971. She continued to live at their home in Polson until entering the nursing home.
She was a member of the Elks and VFW auxiliaries.
Also preceding her in death were a twin sister, who died at birth and a brother, James Lawrence.
Survivors include a daughter Helen Cottrell of Roseville, California; and three sons, Leonard Marshall of Kalispell, Harland Marshall of Sana Diego, California and Fred Marshall of Helena.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Mosley Chapel in Polson. Graveside services also were Tuesday at Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
